Busy Week

Wow, what a week it has been. I have been so busy with things from school to my son I think I am going to go crazy. I feel like I am behind with my assignments, but I hope to catch up today and hopefully this week won't be so hectic. I have been going to my office to work because I can get more done, but silly me, I left my office and left everything in it!! Oh, well I will have to go back and get it today. Just one of those weeks!!

The World of Math

Many people out there think I am nuts because I love math so much. Who knows, maybe I am!! It's just so much fun to work with numbers.

I never really saw myself as a math teacher until I was in college. My undergraduate degree is in Mathematics not Mathematics Education. I first got bit by the teaching bug when I was asked to teach a class as an adjunct instructor at a local community college. I was hooked from there on.

I love to see the expressions on students faces when they finally understand a concept for the first time and I am the one who made it happen. Those moments make evrything worth while.

New To Blogging

Wow, this is kind of cool.

This is my first attempt at blogging. I have heard a great deal about and I know all my students have their own blogs but I hadn't bothered to look into it yet.

It seems to be farily easy to use and customize. I will have to continue to explore. This is fun!!
